Beauty Tips - Caring For Your Hair Naturally

Debrah Dragon asked:

We all use commercially available shampoos and conditioners without realizing the damage these commercial products cause. The chemicals they contain can at times cause more damage than good, which is why natural alternatives are much better as they don't have any side effects. Amazingly these are almost hundreds of things you can use at home that are great commercial product alternatives.

We all want healthy hair. We want our hair to shine, look great, and have a fullness that most people dream about. However, in many cases, we do not want to use harsh chemicals and ingredients that claim to help our hair, but actually end up doing more hair damage in the process.

You have options, you can go the more expensive route with high priced hair products to take care of your hair and then have a tough time in choosing the right one for you. Or you can go the inexpensive route and have healthy, shiny, and full of life hair naturally.

Below are some tips to naturally conditioning and caring for your hair.

Egg

You may not realize it but egg is a great source of protein for both your body and your hair. In a bowl, beat one egg thoroughly, remove the white of the egg and just use the yoke. This is because the white of the egg is known to dry up the scalp and cause dryness, after all its only the yoke that has a high protein content. Then wash your hair as normal, and massage the beaten egg into your hair. Wait five minutes, then rinse with COLD water. You do not want to rinse the egg from your hair with hot water; the results will not be pleasant.

Mayonnaise

Hair conditioner does not need to be expensive, get a jar of inexpensive mayonnaise. Massage your hair and scalp with the mayonnaise thoroughly and rinse. Again, make sure you rinse with COLD water, as rinsing with hot water will cause the mayonnaise to set, making it difficult to avoid oily, greasy hair.

Beer

Instead of rinse and repeat, try doing your final rinse with some beer. The beer should have a light scent, so as not to make your hair smell like beer, the result will be a shine that any woman will want.

Rosemary Oil

With the rosemary oil heated slightly, massage the oil onto your hair and scalp. Allow the oil to sit for a few minutes, then using warm water, rinse thoroughly.

Yogurt

Yogurt is a great way to relieve dry, itchy scalp, as well as dandruff. Apply the yogurt generously to the hair, wrap the saturated hair with a towel and let the yogurt sit for fifteen minutes. Finally, rinse hair thoroughly.

Vinegar Solution

This solution is made up of 1 part vinegar and 3 parts water. The solution can be poured on the hair or put into a spray bottle and sprayed. This solution helps remove any buildup of shampoo on the hair, leaving it easier to style and manage altogether.

These are just a few of the natural remedies in hair care. Taking care of your hair is essential to look great all the way around, if you want to keep it looking great, choosing the right hair care products is necessary.

The health of our hair is imperative so why not take out some extra time and care about its needs? After all your hair is your beauties' biggest secret.
